Our Tamarindo routes extend along a wide sweep of long sandy beaches, rocky headlands, and anchorages perfect for swimming and snorkeling (when conditions allow). Marlin del Rey’s custom-built sailing catamarans depart directly from Playas del Coco and are designed specifically for day charters along Guanacaste’s northern Pacific coastline. From Coco, departures head to Papagayo, a region defined by protected bays, calmer waters, and diverse snorkeling areas. The surrounding coastline features dramatic rock formations and secluded coves.
While morning departures often have steadier water conditions and lighter coastal traffic, our afternoon sails are accompanied by a magnificent Costa Rican sunset that you have to see to believe.
